louise hamel coleman
This October, The 8th House welcomes mixed media and assemblage artist Louise Hamel Coleman into our gallery walls.
Louise builds her work in layers — paper, fabric, texture, and the unpredictable bloom of alcohol ink — pulling from the nature, pop culture, and of the imagination!
She's also a member of A Murder of Crones, a local women's art collective known for turning decades of lived experience into bold, unapologetic work.

The Children's Collection
Children make remarkable contributions to the arts, science, humanities, medicine, technology, philanthropy, and the environment. Some become best-selling authors or exhibit at museums or patent their inventions. Others are not in the public eye but are dedicated to making the world a better place, locally and globally, with or without fanfare.
The Children’s Collection is a repository for all of these creations, and a place for children to learn from and inspire each other. Click here to donate!
